With Deeply Artificial Trees, Alexander Reben illustrates what Artificial Intelligence would see if it could take LSD. Color and form pulsate between beauty and terror as deep-learning algorithms generate a journey through the imagination that Bob Ross could have never imagined. This is machine vision that takes ‘happy little trees’ to the next level.
Deeply Artificial Trees also incorporates an audio layer from Deep Learning Impressions which is a machine learning system that attempts to replicate what makes a person’s voice unique.
